Dangerous Apps for Kids: The One Thing Parents, Even Tech Savvy Parents, Don't Know About Apps

The one thing tech savvy parents don't know about dangerous apps is this: 

Even with iPhone restrictions turned-on and safari disabled,  our kids are capable of accessing dangerous, unfiltered content.   

How is this possible? It's not that difficult, and I show you how at the technology workshop. In short, kids are capable of going through a safe, kid friendly App to access unfiltered internet content.

It is important for us to have the right perspective about dangerous Apps.  Instead of believing only a handful of Apps are dangerous such as Snapchat, Kik, and Tender, I want you to consider this new perspective:

All Apps, including safe Apps, are capable of accessing unfiltered, albeit dangerous, content online.  

Also worth noting: In my technology workshop, I do a live demonstration of what I am talking about here. I remove all internet Apps including Safari from my iPhone. Then, I block safari via the iPhone's restrictions. After that, I demonstrate how I can take a safe kid friendly app and go through the App to access Safari.
